Let’s Throw! A Beginner’s Wheel Class

Service Description

Ready to try your hand at the pottery wheel? Let’s Throw! is a fun and relaxed introduction to wheel throwing—no experience needed! This private class is perfect for small groups and limited to 4 participants max so everyone gets focused time at the wheel. Our cozy studio is equipped with 2 pottery wheels allowing for a shared experience and hands-on instruction. Accessibility note: The studio is only accessible by stairs. 1–2 people: ~1.5 hours 3–4 people: ~2 hours Private parties only – you bring the people, we’ll provide the clay! Each guest gets at least 1 hour on the wheel to create up to 2 finished pieces. All other clay will be recycled. After class, your Claydate Guide will trim, glaze, and fire your piece(s). You'll choose your glaze color from our curated selection, and your finished pottery will be ready for pickup in about 3 weeks. Aprons provided. Closed-toed shoes required. Ages 10 and older.
